Pulse Login
In this article, we explain how to access Pulse and how to navigate through Pulse features.
How to access Pulse
All Pulse features are available through the web client. The URL will look like this:
- https://PulseServerName:8099
How to login to Pulse
Just click the Login button and enter your Pulse credentials.
If you forgot the Pulse Admin credentials, you can reset it following the instructions below:
If you don’t want to enter a password each time you log in to Pulse, you can set up Windows SSO by following the instructions below:
Once logged in, you should be able to see the TM1 servers and instances:
Menu
On the left side you will find the menu tree to navigate through the Pulse features:
Switch between servers
In the top right corner you will find a dropdown to switch between TM1 servers. In this example, Pulse is connected to 4 TM1 servers:
Search box
The Search box – this is definitely an underutilized feature in Pulse. The search icon is in the top right of the screen (regardless of where you are in Pulse), and can be very handy if you are, for example, looking for all references (Rules, TI, etc.) to a single element, or looking to see which processes reference a particular attribute. Give it a try!
Hide notifications
You can hide Pulse notifications (change tracking and alerts) and also apply a filter such as hiding all process notifications (*.pro):
Show latest alerts
The Alerts dropdown shows the previous alerts:
User Profile
By clicking on your user name, you will be able to access your User Profile and to Logout from Pulse:
