Slice is now available to download

After a few iterations of the beta versions, Slice is now released publicly. Slice v3.0 is the first release available to download for free on the Cubewise CODE website!

We wanted to expand the IBM Planning Analytics with Watson ecosystem to make it easier for companies to build and deploy application-specific Excel user interfaces.

Slice has been built for people who love Perspectives and want it to work with hierarchies.

With Slice, it is possible to create Active Forms with hierarchies.

Slice is fast, easy to install, connects directly to the TM1 REST API, works over the internet, has built-in support for hierarchies, supports existing reports built in Perspectives and formula mode in Planning Analytics for Excel.

Slice is a straightforward Excel Add-in for IBM Planning Analytics with Watson (TM1). Just add it in to Excel and point it to any TM1 server (on-premise, self-hosted or on the IBM Planning Analytics Cloud).

Slice Community (the core Perspectives features plus hierarchy support) is free. The Business Edition (Product support plus innovative features such as virtual consolidations) is available for free for the first three months. If you want to continue using Slice Business after this period, you will have to subscribe to Slice Business.
