Getting started with Slice in one minute

Slice is a straightforward Excel add-in for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1). It is very easy to install, this article and the video below show how to get Slice running in one minute.

The latest version of Slice is available to download on the slice download page: code.cubewise.com/slice-download

Once the installer is downloaded just run as administrator the installer slice.x.x.x.exe and go through the installation steps.

Once installed, just open Slice 32 or 64 bits depending on your version of Excel. In the Slice ribbon, just click on Servers. If Slice is installed on the IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) server, it will find all TM1 instances.
