Arc and Slice v5.2 is now available
This release introduces 5 major new features, 10 enhancements, and 12 fixes to improve functionality, security, and user experience.
Arc+ Object Locking:
Starting with Arc v5.2.0 and Pulse v7.2.0, A new security layer allowing users to lock TM1 processes and rules has been added. Locked objects can only be unlocked by the user who locked them or admins in Pulse.
Prevents accidental changes and safeguards critical objects, ensuring system integrity. A new page was added to Pulse called Object Locking to unlock multiple objects at the same time.

Smarter and More Transparent Execution Management for Atmosphere
Guided Connection Setup
New connection‑type–based UI removes the need for free‑form JSON, making configuration easier and error‑free.
Greater Execution Visibility
Enhanced observability provides clearer insights into what’s running and why.
Faster Log Analysis
Advanced search and filtering help you quickly pinpoint information in execution logs.
Arc Auto-Complete Improvements:
Enhanced code editor with smarter, context-aware suggestions for a better coding experience.

Easier to Find your User Preferences
The User Preferences dialog in Arc has been redesigned for better usability, including a search function to quickly find specific settings. Just toggle the Search All button to enable searching across all preference categories.

Slice TM1Val Support
Added support for the TM1Val Excel function, enabling retrieval of values from TM1 cubes with hierarchies. Compatible with TM1 Web and Slice for building active forms.
